1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using Pawly, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. Do not use Pawly if you do not agree.
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age or parental-consent requirement that applies where you live. You must be able to enter into a binding agreement.
2. Accounts and pet profiles
- Provide accurate account information and keep access credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
- Pet profiles describe member-provided information and are not identity, health, training, vaccination, or temperament certifications.
- Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent ownership of a pet, or create accounts to evade restrictions.
3. Community content and messages
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Pawly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process that content only as needed to operate, improve, moderate, and protect the service.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for photos, recordings, text, pet information, and other content you upload. Do not post illegal, deceptive, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, infringing, or dangerous content.
Private messages may be reviewed when a participant reports them or when review is reasonably necessary for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or service integrity.
4. Playdates and real-world safety
Pawly helps members discover and arrange meetups but does not organize, supervise, certify, insure, or guarantee any playdate, host, member, location, or pet.
- Meet in lawful public places and use independent judgment before attending.
- Keep pets under appropriate control and follow local rules.
- Share health, behavior, accessibility, or compatibility concerns directly when relevant.
- Leave or contact local emergency services if a situation feels unsafe.
5. Purchases
Pawly may offer consumable diamonds through Apple's in-app purchase system. Diamonds can be used for optional features such as a time-limited playdate boost. Pawly does not currently offer subscriptions.
Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's billing, refund, and store terms. Except where law or platform rules require otherwise, consumed virtual items are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred outside Pawly.
6. Moderation, reports, and termination
We may screen, limit, remove, preserve, or refuse content and may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect safety, meet legal obligations, or maintain the service.
You can report content or accounts, block members, and submit an appeal through the in-app safety controls. Misusing reports or repeatedly evading enforcement may itself result in restrictions.
You may stop using Pawly and request account deletion at any time. Some information may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Service changes and disclaimers
Pawly is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific community results, member conduct, pet compatibility, or the accuracy of member content.
You remain responsible for decisions involving your pet, including health, training, travel, and in-person interactions. Pawly does not provide veterinary, medical, legal, or professional advice.
To the extent permitted by law, Pawly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
